Hotel lobby and public-area furniture must support the way guests move, wait, dine and work while fitting the design and operating requirements of the project. Golden Sea supplies indoor, outdoor and custom furniture for hotel, resort, restaurant and commercial projects, with the scope reviewed against the project drawings and product schedule.
Areas commonly included in a public-area furniture package
- Hotel reception and entrance areas
- Lobby lounges and waiting areas
- Restaurants, cafés, bars and banquets
- Meeting rooms and co-working spaces
- Corridors, elevators and transitional areas
- Terraces, poolside spaces and other outdoor hospitality areas
What to define before selecting furniture
Identify the use of each area, expected traffic, cleaning routine, exposure to moisture or sunlight, required dimensions and the appearance standard. A lobby lounge, restaurant dining area and outdoor terrace may need different materials, upholstery, finishes, maintenance requirements and packaging protection.
Build the public-area product schedule
List each item by area and quantity so the supplier can review the package as a whole. Include reference images or drawings, dimensions, materials, colors, finishes, fabrics, hardware and any installation or accessory requirements. If several areas share a product, show the quantity for each area as well as the total.
Coordinate design intent with practical requirements
Furniture should be reviewed for circulation, seating capacity, cleanability, durability, comfort and visual consistency. For custom pieces, confirm dimensions and finishes through drawings, samples or a mock-up before production. Record any approved changes so the final specification remains clear to the project team.
Plan quality, packing and delivery
Ask how materials, construction, finish, function, dimensions, quantity and packing will be checked. Public-area packages often contain different product types, so labeling and packing should make it easier to identify items by area during delivery and installation. Confirm the destination, target delivery date and any phased schedule in the RFQ.
